About us

Sally Arkley

SALLY ARKLEY

Director for UK. Research and Programme Development Lead.

A leading figure in the economic development of women and girls for nearly 20 years. She led the Women’s Business Development Agency (WBDA) in the UK from 2001 until 2015. She is the co-founder of Birmingham Business School’s Centre for Women’s Enterprise and Leadership and also co-founded the first UK-government sponsored Regional Women’s Enterprise Unit. Sally was presented with the Queen’s award for Enterprise Promotion in 2008 and in 2010 she was made a Member of the Order of the British Empire by the Queen for her services to women’s enterprise.

Stella Mally

STELLA MALLY

Director for Spain. Corporate lead.

 

Public speaker, awareness raiser and passionate agent for Diversity and Inclusion. She has a long term experience in mentoring young entrepreneurs, accompanying women-led businesses and in advising private companies on how to become equal opportunity employers. In 2017 she was awarded by the Women Economic Forum as “Iconic Woman Creating a Better World for All”. 

Nicoletta Bertolone

NICOLETTA BERTOLONE JONES

Director for Italy. Women Communities Lead.

 

Former Learning Director for The West Midlands and Wales. In 2005 she joined WBDA as Director for School Education. She led a number of innovative programmes including the development of a computer game to raise enterprise awareness, particularly in young women gifted in science for the UK National Endowment for Science and the Arts. She is currently living in Italy where she presides the association “Women@WorkItalia” which supports women entrepreneurs and business women in the North of Italy.

Giulia Chinnici

GIULIA CHINNICI

Global Programme Manager. Disadvantaged Groups Lead.

 

Expert in European policies and equal opportunities, Giulia has developed and managed numerous European projects to support women and women entrepreneurs in the Mediterranean region. She is an advocate for the rights of most disadvantaged groups and an active participant in national and international forums on diversity and inclusion. Giulia is also an experienced trainer and mentor for professional women.

Our Social Commitment

 

Income from our professional services helps us to work with women and girls who experience economic disadvantage. We concentrate on financial literacy education, confidence building and community integration projects.

We have been training women of different ages and conditions in India, supporting women from deprived areas in the UK, sharing knowledge in conferences and events in Italy and Spain so to raise awareness and spread the word of silenced women and minorities, as well as leading research and providing advice on different types of diversity and inclusion initiatives worldwide.
