Women’s Economy

Because women are drivers of economic growth.

Mission

We contribute to inclusive societies by supporting industry, the public sector and educational institutions to help women and girls realise their full personal and professional potential and, by doing so, maximise their contribution to the global economy. We do this through consultancy and capacity-building within organisations and by direct delivery, on behalf of agencies, to employees, clients, stakeholders and students.

We can proudly state that we are not a typical gender diversity agency.

We believe that specialized consultancy does make the difference.

We care about diversity and inclusion as drivers of positive change within the organizations.

We can draw on over 30 years of award-winning practice in supporting women and girls and different types of organizations across Europe.

We have an internationally acknowledged track record of developing and delivering innovative, high-impact services.

Our Core Team is highly experienced in the field and we have an international network of experts who work with us as associates.

Virage

Women’s Economy is associate partner of the EU-funded VIRAGE project, which aims to study how industrial relations and social dialogue can shape progress towards the achievement of gender equality in Europe.

Italy event

Within this partnership, in October 2022, we organized a company level workshop in Turin (IT) to identify the main obstacles to reducing gender inequalities at work, come up with proposals to reverse the situation and debate on the role of industrial relations in achieving gender equality in the labour market.

The first study on women and leadership in Spanish neurology provision has provided the perfect opportunity for Women’s Economy to demonstrate both its enthusiasm and commitment to highlighting gender workplace issues and to facilitating women neurologists into leadership positions. Women’s Economy specialises in gender issues at both national and European levels.

I have had the opportunity to invite Women’s Economy’s Director for Spain, Stella Mally, as sole speaker for our webinar “Men as allies in the diversity and inclusion agenda”. It has been a very enriching experience because of her knowledge in the field of gender, her assertiveness in communicating and her natural warmth.

Sonia Rio Freije

General Director

“Even if you really try to avoid stereotypes and biases when communicating, sometimes they just sneak in.
That’s the reason why it’s key to count on the expert support and professional point of view of an organisation such as Women’s Economy, in order to detect and eliminate them. There is no doubt that their objective vision, based on their experience and the accumulated knowledge after so many years of professional activity, are very valuable and really help us a lot with taking care of our communication.”
